“Pretend News” is an experimental alternative rock track from Dead Waves, blending grungy guitars with atmospheric textures and unconventional production elements. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Wolf Alice and Björk, the song explores a darker and more experimental side of the band’s sound.

Chris produced and mixed the track, working closely with the band to develop its layered atmosphere while maintaining the raw energy of the performance.
