ABOUT CHRIS
Chris Reardon is a UK-born producer and mixing engineer based in Hamburg, Germany, working with indie and rock artists. Drawing on years of experience as a touring musician and songwriter, he focuses on creating records that feel powerful, emotional and alive — capturing real performances and shaping them into productions and mixes that hit hard while still feeling natural.
His work is driven by a love of characterful records — where performance, energy and emotion matter as much as technical precision.
Chris is also an active musician and songwriter and a member of the band PLAIINS, signed to Long Branch Records. The band’s debut album received a 4/5 review from Kerrang! and has been featured on multiple Spotify editorial playlists including All New Rock and Rock Rotation, as well as selections in Spotify’s Best Rock Songs of the Year.
As an artist, Chris has toured throughout Europe and shared stages with artists such as Ed Sheeran, Wolfmother, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Maverick Sabre, ITCHY and Press Club. His music has also received radio support worldwide, including BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing, Fritz FM, Byte FM and stations across Europe, Australia and North America.
Beyond his work as an artist, Chris has written and produced music for other performers, including songs for the German band Hamatom which have accumulated over 2.5 million streams and views. He has also worked closely with emerging artists such as Louis Ottley, helping develop the project from the ground up — leading to a KRACH+GETÖSE award and performances at festivals including Dockville and Reeperbahn.
This combination of experience as a songwriter, touring musician and producer shapes Chris’s approach in the studio: understanding the artist’s vision first, then building productions and mixes that elevate the song while staying true to the performance.
Artists work with Chris for his ability to combine a songwriter’s perspective with a producer’s ear — focusing on performances, emotion and records that feel alive. He works with artists both remotely and in person from his Hamburg studio.
